This book indexes 256 images of fish and fish related objects. Dispensed on a fishing rod, the book is separated into two parts. The first part is a sixteen-page accordion displaying an imagined timeline made up of collaged photos, beginning with the first fish to evolve on land and ending with the retaliation of ocean creatures in response to over-fishing and commodification. The second part is a 256-page index of each image in chronological order.The reverse of the accordion features a corresponding guide to each image.
